I grew up in the 1980s: Pippi Longstocking has shown me what means courage - and Captain future was a gripping look into the future. Maybe you still remember the end 1990s: at that time, mobile phones slowly crossed the threshold into the mass market. Who had still not a mobile phone, such types fell on mostly, which pointedly called the woman of the House before the vegetable counter to ask whether they should bring even Avocados. But the times of the mobile phone Poser and envy are fortunately over.
How far the technology has already come!
Today, mobile phones and Smartphones are widespread throughout the world - and the small devices have more and more on the box: they function as small PCs in the back of the hand and are both mobile phone, GPS, Internet PC, online post office, digital weather service - and ever more frequently also a replacement for the watch today. But is better technology for everything? Is the solution to all problems "always online"? Certainly not - but it helps.
That you can do so much with smartphones , has now strong impact on our everyday lives - also for me personally. Too often, the vollgekritzelte note on the kitchen table was if I erred already perplexed by the shelves in the supermarket. With the app miracle list, one can divide task lists with other people. I care is that now our shopping list - and if the family wants to add something, which is based on almost any device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, PC and Web browser) and Lands right on my phone.
Mobile freedom - democratization of social space?
With the rise of the "Internet phones" social networks like Facebook and Twitter grew in the last two years enormous - and worldwide users organized themselves now to. In Tunisia, the Government had these networks at the beginning of the year partly blocked, to prevent a revolt against the President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali - in vain.
